As part of its 50th Birthday celebrations, Wokingham Lions Club is presenting 50 Golden Awards of £500 to charities and deserving good causes throughout 2024. One of those is Kaleidoscopic, a charity run by and for survivors of domestic abuse, where a Golden Award is already helping to fund meals, arts, crafts and activities for its new Fun with Mum monthly sessions.
A spokesperson said,
“We are so grateful to you all. Your kindness has bridged a huge gap that existed, and now means children have ongoing support, as well as fun with their family in a safe space. Thank you, Wokingham Lions Club.”
